Criterion NDT is a U.S.-based manufacturer of Eddy Current instrumentation and sensors, designed to detect and sort rejects in-line. Our products are purpose built for quality inspection of newly manufactured components that are used in the Automotive, Industrial, Aerospace, and Medical sectors. They provide real-time validation of post machining, forming, broaching, threading, assembly, and heat treatment processing, ensuring consistent product quality prior to shipment.
Eddy current technology is commonly used to evaluate electrically conductive material for detection and sorting of products with conditions such as surface cracks or material flaws, missing or incorrectly positioned (metallic) components within assemblies, verification of correct threads or presence of hidden component features. It is also well suited for the detection and sorting of undesirable product microstructure resulting from heat treat process issues such as no-heat, short heat, delayed quench, short quench, air cooled and misplace case.
Acknowledging that manufacturers now experience higher rates of turnover, Criterion NDT developed very intuitive user interfaces with simplified menu structures, and helpful setup features that ensure users can quickly become proficient and confident in the operation of our instrumentation. This is a notable distinction when comparing to most all other eddy current products made for the manufacturing market segment.
